in the topic Decrease brightness in the forum Support
Hi,  Is there any way to decrease brightness on WattOS? I have been struggling with this problem for the past couple months now.  This might just be the one feature that is sorely lacking in WattOS. The lack of a brightness setting is the maximum drain on the laptop battery next to the wireless.   Could someone please give me any pointers on how to decrease the brightness? Thanks!

Okay, I figured this one out. It's at /usr/share/backgrounds/greenlogin.jpg

Hi, I really like the green plant-based picture that appears at the login screen of WattOS. I would like to make it my desktop background picture as well. Where is it located in the filesystem? What is the name of this startup background screen? This post was edited by Tiny Pliny at April 3, 2011 11:45:58 AM PDT

Ola, click on the "Go" button > Preferences > Customize Look and Feel > In the tab called "Widget" change the Default Font to Tahoma. You can also change the font size here.

in the topic Adjust Contrast, Gamma and Color on GM 965 Mobile Intel Graphics in the forum Support
I have the GM965 Intel Mobile integrated graphics chip on my laptop. I have installed the latest "xserver-xorg-video-intel" package from ubuntu from here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel How do I adjust the contrast, color and gamma on my laptop? Is there some driver interface that I can use? Where do I find it? This post was edited by Tiny Pliny at March 2, 2011 5:30:33 AM PST
