usr/share/applications power manager. It's all there. Really, in any linux distro, if you are having problems finding software just look there.

usr/share/applications and I think you'll find solutions to some of your problems... power manager and mouse settings... use chromium instead of Midori, easy fix... I spend a good two hours tweaking a new install of any LXDE distro. I don't consider it an annoyance or hassle. With a little research, it's very easy to customize and that's one of the cool things about it. Try this for clock %A-%b%d %l:%M It will look like this Saturday-Mar10 5:30.... that's the way I like it.

After installation, the resolution problem cleared itself up. Jupiter,, which I've used before on Fuduntu and thanks for including, is working fine with no modifications or tweaks done by me.

Went ahead and installed alongside R4 hoping the problem would go away. Surely, it did.

Ran R5 live with unetbootn, and the screen is stretched. Mouse stops about an inch above the bottom panel making it pretty useless unless hooked up to an external monitor with vga. Checked monitor settings and resolution was as it should be - 1024 x 600. Asus EeePC 1005HA.
