    I have installed a commandline xubuntu and then finished it off by hand. All working with LVM and no excess CPU usage.

    Hi, thanks for your answer. I am on R6 and it is not a WattOS only problem. It seems LDXM does this when logged into an encrypted home for the first time.
    The solutions are :
    1. Use GDM, XDM or some other xDM.
    2. Do not encrypt home....  more

    lxdm-binary 100% CPU
    I am not sure if this is a known problem but when I log in I get 100% CPU usage, TOP tells me it is lxdm-binary. I have seen some *buntu fixes but nothing here. 
     
    How do I stop this? Please!
