Not like Alacarte as far as I know. But if there is one that would be it is fine with me.

    And this:
'Lxmed is very good but requires java, which is a fairly heavy application.'
.. is important for wattOS of course.

Has anybody ever thought about easy direct installing a distro from ISO?
So not per definition from disk or pendrive?
I love the livecd/dvd or usb, but they are not always needed.

Maybe the graphical Nvidia card. So I had to wait two weeks to get a new customised PC. But I had still my ten year old Dell with WattOS. And a backup of data on pendrive. Flash 10 deb put in WattOS and it has saved me fine. Slower than a racemonster, but quite okay.

I will continue to do whatever I can to make sure the oldest gear possible and simplest system that people can customize how they like.

I'm playing here with the R6 and how beautiful this is....
I don't have special wishes for R7 when I see all this. ...  more

But I have not found a menu-editor yet in Lxde.

Thanks a lot for a great OS!

(And 32 bit machines are not 'old machines'  in my humble opinion. They only have a smaller datapath.
There are also machines with 128 bits paths. Etc. )  less
