Hi, Biff posted a new Poll asking about the version of wattOS you're using. For some reason I didn't see any information about that here, so I'll write one.

What about including R4's wallpapers in R7? And R4's Syslinux and LXDM backgrounds. They're great and...classy.
And the Onyx Openbox theme should look good with the Zukini GTK+ Theme.

Err, biff....moving to a debian testing base might be a good idea for R9? Or prhaps Aptosid or Siduction - if they prove to not be resource-heavy? You can then release things whenever you feel like it - as long as you do release them. Just my thought.

I don't know but might it be a good idea to base R8 on something that hasn't got a fixed release schedule (i.e. Debian testing, and for that matter I think Siduction and Aptosid as well), so that you can take your time working on each release.

Perhaps creating a wattOS Tablet edition with Illume (and therefore E17) installed by default would be a good idea. It shouldn't exactly be the flagship edition of wattOS, though - It (probably?) was never even meant to be a debutant's cup of tea, or to be exact that of a business man who hasn't got much time to set up everything in E17 and to, at the same time, have fun by doing so. But if you've got the time, patience, and passion to do so, the E17 would disappoint you as much as the KDE4 is ugly (and since KDE4's got barely any ugliness....you get the idea).
