Testing out the basics of Linux distros is one of my hobbies. I've tested out over 100 different distros in the past year, and have about 300GB of up to date Linux ISOs . I really like WattOS because it is the most lightweight Ubuntu based one that has a good amount of features.
I believe that the switch to Enlightenment would be good because it is VERY lightweight while having a great amount of features and is easy to use.
I'm glad you decided to do both x32 and x64 this time around. If you get one done before the other though you should release it so those who use that platform could start as soon as possible.
As for web browsers Midori can be a bit buggy or slow at times. I would definitely suggest either Chromium or SWiron because they tend to run smooth, have support for more things, and tend to stay up to date.
As for most other things I think i'll wait for R6 to come out before saying anything.
WattOS is definitely in my top 5 Linux distros alongside Semplice in the lightweight section.
