@ david linares. I used to like chromium, but for the same reason you stated, about the "sign-in" nag screen, I remove it immediately after installing FF.

It just seems weird that Adobe would make a move like that, especially with Google, since their Android is Linux based. Albeit, there are a lot of Linux based devices now, and Adobe did get into a "stink" with Apple not log ago and left Apple high and dry. (Snickering). Who knows what the future of computing will be.  less

The default "Evolve" theme works perfectly, but with all the other widgets, it's a flashback to the 90's. I encounter this on Audacious and Disk Utility, and something else I can't think of just now. The older GTK 2.x themes won't work anymore with the newer 12.04 software. An easier, and more fun solution is to go to gnome-look and shop for GTK 3.x themes. Then the Win 95/98 look is long gone.
Direct link to GTK 3.x themes: http://gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=167...unless you like the "Retro" computer look. ;)  less

in the topic xarchiver doesn't work in the forum Support
biff baxter said:Hey Mickey - sorry to hear that. Did you try the different archiver integration scenarios at all in the file manager? If you open it up (file manager) and go to "edit-preferences-advanced" you will see there is archiver integration included file-roller, xarchiver, and squeeze. I have not played with that much as xarchiver works for what I need, but might be something for you if you want to roll out file-roller, but still have that right click context menu work with it. tks..biff   HOT DAMN TAMALES, AHAB! THAT WORKED! (Yes, I'm shouting.)Changed the Archiver Integration to file-roller and now it works perfectly! Thanks for that tip.   http://s19.postimage.org/fdtbf7ecf/th_DANCE_417.gif   (I'm not even Irish, but it's close enough to St. Patrick's Day to start celebrating this fix!)
