in the topic Installing WattOSR4 in the forum Support
I have successfully installed WattOSR3 in the past as a third operating system on my thinkpad t61.  I tried today to install R4 on top of that and the first two times it indicated that it could not unmount SDA9 (my Ubuntu boot partition) which should not even have been mounted.  Subsequent to that it got stuck on the page that that asked me to make sure that I had at least 2.8 GB available and power and a network connection.  I tried removing (using gparted from ubuntu) the old wattosr3 and then installing wattosr4 again but again failed.   I would appreciate any thoughts or help.   Phil   P.S.  By the way, the 4965 wireless worked out of the box.  THANKS . . .

Thank you - I am very much looking forward to it. Phil P.S. Are you still contemplating a 64 bit version?

I apologize for the second post, but it would also be extremely helpful if it were possible to display different things on each screen when there is more than one screen (i.e. to turn off mirroring); my laptop appears to be using Intel 965 express chip set. I would be happy to test both capabilities. Phil

Hi! I am looking for a 64 bit wattos that I can use Eclipse with and Libre Office.  I would need a driver for a 4965 wifi chipset, . . .  I am particularly interested in wattos because my thinkpad t61 gets very hot when I use it under Ubuntu I know it doesn't exist, but I was wondering if you have posted notes someplace about how to convert a generic (64 bit) ubuntu installation into a wattos clone so that I can do it myself for my needs. You've done a great job on reducing processor usage.  I don't know if it's something I could do on my own but if they are not confidential your notes would make a big difference.  Also, if you have developed your own power manager, that could be a product that you could sell.
