I'm not sure about E17. I tried it on OpenBSD and it was a mess. Nothing worked out of the box. I'm not a big expert so I rather stick with LXDE. And I have never tried MoonOS either. Those working on Enlightenment Desktop should make it less buggy. It's sad to say that as it does have an appealing interface - maybe E18 will be better...

I don't know how hard it is to work around Mir but if it turns out to be a nightmare, let's go to Debian ;)
And maybe for future releases, a text installer that allows you to choose some default programs during installation would be a great idea, so we don't have to discuss what should be included in each release. Some hate abiword and gnumeric and replace it, others might hate Chrome and replace it with firefox. I really hope a text installer will be implemented.
    See you later,

Waiting for 13.04 sounds good for me. And sticking to major releases is reasonable. For some users, updating every 6 months is a pain - not for me though ;)
And a text installer is welcome news!
Thanks for all your work and making such a great distro!

Liam Gutierrez wattOS R5 is great! However, I got some problems with the installation. Good thing I found a forum post telling to start ubiquity in the terminal. If interested, you can take a look at my desktop by following this link to google docs

Great to hear that Biff! This is a bit off topic but you should especially recommend wattOS for Multiuser Settings: I installed wattOS within Windows 7 through VirtualBox. My computer is connected to 3 monitors and 3 usb keyboards/mice. This way I save energy and money as 3 can use one computer at the same time! It works surprisingly fast! It's more stable and faster than other distros I tried for this setting, such as Puppy Linux, Slax, Knoppix (live-mode) etc. It takes less than 5 seconds to boot up! BTW: It runs smoothly on my laptop, too. In short, wattOS is as versatile as Ubuntu - just damn much faster ;) To all behind wattOS: THANK YOU!
