I'm on a dual booted Ubuntu 10.04/wattOS R3 system. I logged into the Ubuntu side, and did a package update, including Grub2. Everything was great until I rebooted....It immediately loaded Ubuntu, no option to select a different OS.
I ran update-grub2 - no change.
This is where Grub Customizer came in. I added the PPA to my repo list, reloaded and installed. I ran the gui and seen my 'delay' time was set to 0 and it defaulted to the first OS on the list. I changed the delay, then rebooted, all was well once again! Nice and easy.
Here's it's launchpad link for those that might find it helpful.
launchpad.net/grub-customizer
Enjoy!

I need to learn more about editing. I'm still a mid-level noob, but am learning something every day!
