yes R6 will be based on 12.04 it actually benefit everyone since that means R6 should be released in the next 30-45 days. Which is probably the soonest I have ever released after an ubuntu release. I already have a basic image built on a desktop I am using to shake down...
Right now the power brick it it, but I am looking into some cool DC accessories, and even solar power as I have seen those kits also which are cool.

Wow.....1 GB of RAM? That thing might be capable of running under some heavyweight distros (i.e SolusOS)...
Or more importantly...(for me anyway :) ) all those cool custom programs you want to run
