Hello, in first palce, so sorry for my horrible English, I send this post from the Oaxaca city, in Mexico, my question is: I have an old laptop, with less than 256 MB of RAM [has about 230]I've burned the CD and live performance it's fine, but when I try to install, I get amessage 'error'I know that the error stems from the limited memory, for machines with greater capacity RAM not see this message and if possible the installation, there is some alternative way to install?, Could someone help me?.

    Thanks and regards-

The LiveCD is working OK ? Good.
For earlier releases, the solution for low-memory installs has been :
    - open Terminal
    - at the prompt, type ubiquity
    - press enter

If that doesn't do the trick, report back in this topic. I suggest you add some more details of your hardware, any error messages and a general description of what did seem to work and what it looked like when it stopped.

I have installed to hard drive using another pc and then put hard drive back into original pc. Sometimes I borrow memory or graphics card too, beef it up just for installation.
