After months of searching, I think I finally found some distro for my notebook. But as far as I see wattOS is presented as OS for older computers, but I want to use it on (at least I think) new notebook.

Is it really more power-saving than other linux distros?

And will switchable graphics function work?? On Fuduntu I use vgaswitcheroo function but i do not know if it is availble in here. And what about propietary drivers for ATI, are they available?

    Thanks for answers.

Hi Martin - proprietary drivers are available via a utility called Jockey that is included in wattOS - under the preferences menu - additional drivers.

As far as switchable graphics, I am not sure as I have not tested that function on a system as I don't have a system like that to test on.

    tks,
