hi, i have installed wattos and really it looks great. i am trying to use it mainly now but just need to get the wifi working. the wicd cant find anything but it works for me in antix. i have changed the preferences to wlan0 and even tried eth1 but no effect it doesnt show anything. it does show itself with the iwconfig code however but nothing looks wrong. now i had a similar issue before with another wireless card on a laptop but i am using a pc right now. on the laptop there was a soft block. the whole time i just had to type rfkill list all to see it then rfkill unblock all and then it worked great. is there anything similar i could do even though this is a pc. it is a wifi dongle device though but it works with peppermint and antix so i dont see why it wouldnt with wattos besides it shows up with iwconfig so the drivers are installed right it seems. wierd. thanks to any help

Hi there...we should be able to make it work. Please post your lspci and iwconfig output and if its a USB device the lsusb output also...There are some other forum topics about this and rfkill came up and does indeed work on wattOS.

    tks...biff
