wireless woes

I have just installed on my 12 year old fujitsu lifebook B-2131, all seems fine most stuff is detected ok and running quite quick for something with only 192mb of memory and a 400mhz processor! really impressed. wired network is fine, but i cannot seem to get wireless working, the laptop has a pcmcia port and I have an array of cards:

    Lucient wavelan

    Edimax EW-7106PC

    3com 11mbps WIreless lan officeconnect (3CRSHPW196)

    DLINK DWL-630

none of which seem to want to work, the closest i get is the edimax which at least detects my wireless network before failing to authenticate. (even when i set my wireless secutity on my netgear wap to pretty lax and frankly dangerous open security)

any Ideas how to better fine tune the wireless or configure ndiswrapper on wattos4? ideally I'd like to use the Dlink (uses Ra61 driver) or the 3com (as the ariel folds up on this card so it is neat and darn groovy, pity it is only 11mbit but then i'm using the laptop just to surf t'internet so i'm not fussed with speed much.)

the 3com office connect card does not detect at all with lspci so i think i'm not going to get far with that one.

Go ahead and post your lsusb and iwconfig also please with the card plugged in. :)

looks like that dlink will need ndiswrapper. do you have the windows driver, or a download of them? If so, we should be able to work through the process to make it work.
