  Residual config is not working properly here in wattOS r4.

  It is not possible to remove residual config files.

  Is there a solution?

  Same here.Thought of apt-get purge "package name" but have not bothered to try.

  sudo apt-get autoremove
  
  sudo aptitude purge ~c
