What music player and or movie player should wattOS have by default. I am testing many now. Please keep in mind the lightweight goal. Nothing that pulls a ton of dependencies and take a lot of memory to run. :)

    Fire away!

I quite like Audacious, it's memory footprint is around 6mb when playing music and cpu sits on about 4 to 8 I was using the GTK default skin when checking its usage, so not to bad I think it's packed with allot of good plugins too.

Yes, Audacious. Loads quickly and mostly easy to use.

    I prefer DeaDBeeF (http://deadbeef.sourceforge.net/).

I am happy to let you know Audacious will be the new default music player. I am listening to streaming music on it right now on the R4 pre-release....very nice :)

I'd hate to be one to bash Foobnix, but the main feature advertised is now unusable.

I throw in my vote for DeaDBeeF!

what about gmusicbrowser? it can be set to look like many different music players and has a small footprint.
